Our Worship.

Why do we clap our hands?

Psalms 47:1
“O clap your hands, all ye people; shout unto God with the voice of triumph.”

Why do we lift our hands?

Psalms 63:3,4
”Because thy lovingkindness is better than life, my lips shall praise thee. Thus will I bless thee while I live; I will lift my hands in thy name.”

Psalms 134:2
“Lift up your hands in the sanctuary, and bless the Lord.”

Why do we dance and play instruments?

Psalms 150:1-6
“Praise ye the Lord. Praise God in His sanctuary; Praise Him in the firmament of His power. Praise Him for His mighty acts: praise Him according to His excellent greatness. Praise Him with the sound of trumpet: praise Him with the psaltery and harp. Praise Him with timbrel and dance: praise Him with stringed instruments and organs. Praise Him upon the loud cymbals: praise Him upon the high sounding cymbals. Let everything that hath breath praise the Lord. Praise ye the Lord.”

Why do we speak in tongues and prophesy?

Acts 2:4
“And they were all filled with the Holy Ghost, and began to speak with other tongues, as the Spirit gave them utterance.” Acts 19:6
“And when Paul laid his hands upon them, the Holy Ghost came on them; and they spake with tongues, and prophesied.” Mark 16:17
“And these signs shall follow them that believe; In My Name shall they cast out devils; they shall speak with new tongues.”
